I am a graduate in Economics and Statistics from Egerton university and grew up in a local school with my mother having passed away. At times I had to look for my own savings from farming income to pay college fees and at last, I made it thank God.
I buy tea leaves from farmers and at times I lease them from a piece of land before selling them to companies who collect from centres. At the moment sales revenue is around kshs 40,000 per month.
I will use the loan in general tea activities in the farm as pucking and also buying from other farmers and selling to buying companies at increased price.
