My Story

My name is Appiah Augustine.I hail from Kotokrom, a suburb of Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana. We are seven in my family, four siblings and my parents.I am 31 years of age.

Due to work, my parents settled at Senase, a village in Berekum so I began my elementary school at Senase R/C Primary School. In fact I was not doing well at school due to ill health so I eventually stopped schooling in Class five.Later on I went to Western region to help my dad on the farm.

Things became very difficult so I worked as a labourer on people's farms where I solicited some money to learn driving.

Today, I am an experienced taxi driver but I do not have my own car.I am married with two kids. The saddest news is that I am the breadwinner pf my family so all their burden rest upon me.

I am interested in driving and watching movies.

My Business

As I have made myself known to you already,I am a taxi driver.I began this job for the past six years.Since affording to buy a car in Ghana is very expensive, I work for somebody.

I make sales to my boss everyday and am forced to work harder everyday save Sundays in order to make my Ghs 60 sales. In deed after this sales I fill the tank with fuel after the daily's work.

I can avow however that I make about 10 percent profit each day.

Tire Servicing for my Taxi Business

I applied for a first loan and I was not denied.I must say that the car battery was really bought even though I encountered some peculiar problems.I now posses a battery which has facilitated business.

It is a due fact that human wants are unlimited, and as a result, I am pleading with the august lenders of Zidisha to grant me a loan of about 100 US Dollars to replace my old weak tyres with new ones.

In fact,it is going to help me facilitate business by giving good services to my customers. Thanks
