My husband is employed by the government of Kenya and meets most of our expenses while the profit from my business is used partly to expand the business while the other is used for savings to invest in my children education.
My hotel business is based in Githurai and it has been in operation for the past 2 years. My hotel involves selling basic food like tea, bread, rice,potatoes , beef and ugali to the local people and over the weekend my husband usually assist in the management. I have also employed one young lady to assist in the servicing and she has good customer relation skills thus customers like our hotel but now I intend to expand and introduce other type of food. Part of my profit is used for savings to expand my business and open other branches in my community because there are few in our community.

I will use the refrigerator to preserve various food items and vegetable them reducing spoilage and improving on the quality of good prepared at my hotel. This will contributed towards reduction of expenses and increase in sales because the quality of food will improve thus I anticipate my monthly profit to increase by 70%. I will use part of my profit to improve living standard of my family.
