I'm Faith Shijende I'm the first born in a family of three children. I completed Secondary school education in 2016 and started working as a house girl in 2017. I decided to quit my job and started keeping of indigenous dairy cattle in 2019. The capital I used to start the project was savings from my earnings when I was still working as a house girl in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. I'm 22 years old and I have dreams of becoming renown farmer in future.

I first of all thank all my leaders for the support they have been giving me I have five cows, I'm milking the three and two are calves. I get 12 litres of milk per day. One litre is costing 0.5 usd. Per day I earn 5 usd from the 10 litres and I use two litre with my family.

The profit goes to up to 5 usd and I use it to pay bills, to reinvest in my project inorder to expand it. I recently added a calf from Zidisha loan and I have repaid it, I'm planning to add another calf.

Greetings precious Zidisha lenders and the entire Zidisha team. The loan I'm applying for will help me in purchasing a female calf. The cost of the calf is 100 usd, I will use the 22 usd that I will given from Zidisha and add some amount from my milk sell to purchase a female calf. This will add value to my business.

Eagerly waiting for your assistance. God bless you.

Thank you very much.
