I was born in a family of three and am the oldest. Am not married yet and I dont have any kids. I have completed senior high school and because am from a poor home I couldn't continue. My certificate is still at School because I was enable to settle all my fees.
So a friend of mine introduce me to small scale market on a table, which is called in my local delict as "bodwabodwa". I find it very dificult to start with this business because I have no capital to startup. So I talk to one of my neighbours and had pitty on me and lend me some money to start.
Neighbours at my community are very loving and encouraging, because without them I couldn't have start with something on my own. They always support me both in kind and cash. I love being with them.
With my small table structure I provide people with cooking materials and other useful item we use in our home. Examples include tomatoes, salt, sugar, cooking oil, onion, toothpaste and few others.
As you can see, these are regular items we always used in our homes each and everyday. People in my locality are very happy to have this table marketing around because is near them and they won't travel much to get this items.
Since My capital was very small, I couldn't purchase enough items need by my people. But sometimes I could get GHS 20 as my income.
Am saving this profit to settle my school fees for my certificate and continue with my education.
Since the money is small, I will manage it by buying some few items needed in my store.
Some of the items are salt, tomato paste and oil. People in my area needs those item very much as they help them in preparing their foods.
So if this loan is granted , it will boost people patronage and hence increase my income too. I Wil also feather my school from the income I will save from my market
