I was born in simat village uasingishu county, i went to a village primary school that is mutwot primary school and later joined Chemenei high school in uasingishu county. I didn't proceed to higher level of Education due to financial constraints. I was born in a financially struggling family and i had alot of difficulties in payment of high school fee. I started planting maize so that i could see the produce to pay for my school fee. Later i expanded my farming to include beans growing and dairy farming.I have passion in farming and enjoy spending most of my time in farm.

I practice farming to earn a living. I grow both maize one season a year and beans twice a year i later sell my farm products to the market in village where demand is very high since Ugali(african maize cake) is the stable food in the region. The cost i incur in planting maize is approximately 250 USD per acre, and typically an acre will produce 20 sacks of maize where i will sell at a price of 30 USD per sack hence making a profit of 450 USD per season. While in beans farming i incur cost of approximately 200 USD per acre per season and get profot of approximately 300 USD. I use the profit to save for the construction of my house and other to save for my children school fee.

I will use the loan borrowed to purchase 4 bags of CAN top dressing fertilizer at 25 USD each. The fertilizer will improve the production of maize implying i will make more profit and therefore safe more for the construction of my house.
