I am Kenya aged 26 years old with one child. I started schooling at Voi primary school for primary school education and proceeded to Precious blood Riruta girls for secondary school education. My parents were not able to raise fees for my university education since i did not qualify for direct entry but i have managed to start a business that i normally save for my future education planning. Failure to join direct campus entry and lack of fees for parallel education promted me to start my business. I live in a dry land where tourist attraction and business are the main activities. I would wish my children to pursue courses that are technologically related. My hobby is visiting game parks to observe wild animals.
I sell beauty products like, body lotions, petroleum jelly, perfumes earrings, salon hair and other cosmetics. These products are in demand because there are very few shops in voi town that sell cosmetics thus i choose this business since there was market demand. I spend roughly $100 monthly for restocking the shop and in turn get a total revenue of $220. Part of this profits are saved for my education and some reinvested into business
The loan will be used to purchase electric poster costing$16 for my shop thus this will attract customers since they will identify my shop easily and this in turn will generate a lot of revenue for my shop. I expect this to increase the number of customers and raise my profits by $40 monthly.
