My name is Monica manore the first born in a family of four siblings.
I am also a mother of three beautiful girls the first born being twin girls and the last born who is a month old.
I reside in Kenyatta staff quarters with my family where my husband works.
The reason I decided to start a business is due to ever rising living cost and due to the fact that my partner's earnings are not enough to cater for our family needs.
I run a small kiosk (groceries shop) within the estate where I sell everyday necessities like milk, bread, sugar ,and other foodstuffs.
Due to financial constraints I have not been able to restock the shop to its capacity.
That is the reason I am here for a little push
My kiosk deals with foodstuffs that households in my estate use everyday and therefore demand is always there.
One of the advantage I have is the fact that I serve all manner of people from well to do as well as as not so well financially by offering different packaging scales which all people can afford.
The challenge I am facing is lack of finances so I can make sure I have the products that my customers need all the time.
At the moment my sales scale upto an amount of ksh. 40,000 and expenses of ksh. 20,000 monthly and so that leave me with a profit of ksh. 20,000.
If I get this funding I will use the money to add more stuff and variety so I can be able to satisfy my customers and this will inturn increase my profits.
My dream is to own a supermarket and am happy for zidisha for giving me this platform.
Please be part of my dream
The loan I am looking for will be used as follows: Milk,Bread, Ndazis and such related groceries- $35 Cereals such as beans, rice, flour, maize -$55 Vegetables -$23 General household supplies-$35 by restocking my estate groceries shop I will have saved my neighbours hustle to walk upto shopping centre to get their supplies since I will be able to satisfy their demand. At the moment I am facing a challenge in not being able to offer a variety that is in the market. by increasing the variety the sales will go up as well as my profits and in turn my dream to one day expand my store into a supermarket will be close to the reality as the amount that I will be re-investing back to the business will be much higher than what I am currently doing. My new found family, please support this noble cause and you will have served the society through me.
Thank you all as you bid
