I have a family of four, I work in an NGO (non-governmental organization), and I have a university degree. I want to work in trade to become more financially independent and to work for myself. My trade involves buying fabric and wrap dresses abroad and reselling them. To help with sales, I created a Facebook page for advertising, and at the same time I sell them in person to acquaintances and anyone who is interested.

I also plan to launch an online marketing project with a website selling various products. Online commerce is the latest technology these days that works all over the world. The site is communication-based: friends are invited to buy products online and these invitees benefit from discounts and bonuses. This new technology will replace all others and the advantage of this business is that people can work from home without the constraint of a boss, which makes it the revolution of the future for online business.

I buy and resell wrap clothing, dyed fabrics, and shoes. I buy them abroad (Lome, Mali, Burkina Faso, Maradi) and resell them at my point of sale in Niamey and the nearby neighborhoods. I plan to employ a distributor to help me sell them even when I am away. I want to advertise online through Facebook to familiarize people with the products and increase my clientele. I also plan to find a good website that allows online sales through bank/credit cards, but for now I'm just doing publicity on Facebook.

Fears (potential problems) in this business are wholesalers who can sell for cheaper, but the distribution system I'm putting in place will help challenge such competition. Depending on the budget, I also plan to increase the range of products sold.

My business consists of buying wrap clothing and dyed fabrics abroad: in Burkinea Fasso, in Mali, and in Togo. The wraps cost, for example, 5000 CFA and I can resell them at 7500 or more depending on the interest of the clients because the prices are not fixed in our country.

I would like to create a Facebook page to publicize and to facilitate sales of the products more rapidly. I am sure that this loan will permit me to develop my business, and I devote myself to my business with a passion.

I find the passion to do business, and I find it while traveling for paying for the merchandise. It's the discovery of new countries and of new cultures for me.

The most important thing is the flourishing of the family.
