My name is Mame Rokhaya Diop. I live in Sicap Liberty 1. I come from a modest family and live with my mother and brothers. My father is deceased. I am single with four children. My business is selling housekeeping products and paper tissues. I went to primary school at St. Louis and to secondary school at Blaise Diagne High Schhol. I came from Dakar in 1983 after I stopped school. I sell "wax" fabrics, shoes and cosmetics. I go to Gambia to buy my merchandise.
I go to Gambia to buy "wax" fabric, shoes and cosmetics to resell. The profits I earn allow me to meet my needs. With this money I pay for my children's education and buy food. I import good quality products that are not expensive. I sell household cleaning products and paper tissues from Italy that a friend sent me three months ago. They sold quickly but not for much profit, but that's okay.
The cartons contain eight bottles of dishwashing soap, which I buy for 1,000 FCFA and resell for 1,500 FCFA. The prices are the same for bleach. I can buy three cartons for 24,000 FCFA and earn 12,000 FCFA in profit, which I can use to buy another carton. I also bought children's clothing for back-to-school. I am sure this will work well.
