My name is Daniel Chibwe 26 years old. I come from a poor family and I live in shanty compound of Chimwemwe in Kitwe. Survival and having three meals a day as is very hard for us. Dad and Mum are jobless and currently, I provide for them through making door flames and window flames. After I completed school I did go further education, I only managed to do Metal fabrication certificate. My dream was to further my education but my parents could not afford to pay for school fees. That led me to venture into metal fabrication, I make door, window, curtain rods , door flames, metallic desks, tank stands and many more. I have great passion to expand this business but lack financial support. My dream is to expand and grow this business . In future, once I happen to have children I wish my children to have a better future by acquiring better education. I have the passion for metal fabrication of making and designing things especially for home builders.
I'm entrepreneurs involved in making door flames, metallic doors, window flames, doors , curtain rods and tank stands. Demand is very high and I generate income very fast the major is that I do not have enough capital to make more good and meet demand, I started this business with only ZMW 1000.00 and I make ZMW 400 per week, of which I feel , if given aid to increase my working capital let say for example ZMW 5000.00, I could be generating more than ZMW 1,800.00 per week. The profits will be used to support my parents, buy them food and pay rentals and the other income will be used for home improvement and invest more in the business.
Due to high demand for people building in our community, it has come to my attention that I additional welding for making the windows , door frames and metalic door for people to build especially those building house in our community. Due is very and there is to improve service delivery by buying a new machine.
