My name is Chiozya Mwanza. I am a fish farmer from Mundulundulu village, Siavonga district, in the southern part of Zambia. Siavonga is home to Lake Kariba, the largest man-made lake in the world.

The farm is located on the shores of Lake Kariba and we grow Nile Tilapia in floating fish cages on the lake. We also catch Crayfish for sale to upmarket restaurants, lodges and hotels.

I am married and we are proud parents to four beautiful children.

My business is selling fresh farmed and wild fish, crabs and Crayfish to up market restaurants, lodges and hotels in the resort town of Siavonga and in the capital Lusaka.

I catch the wild fish, crabs and Crayfish from Lake Kariba and sell it fresh to customers. I have also exported fish and Crayfish to South Africa.

I plan to purchase fish from the local fishermen who fish in the waters close to my farm which is located on the shores of Lake Kariba. The fishermen use the money to pay for medical bills, school fees and groceries.

After buying the fish I will refrigerate it overnight and the following day transport it to Lusaka, where my loyal customers continue to support my business by placing more orders for their favorite Nile Tilapia fish.
