As determined as I am in life, I have always wanted to take my own financial responsibilities into my own hands.
As a professional teacher, and a grooming politician, I have always wanted to turn society into a network of self-confidence, determination and hardwork through risk taking and innovation. It has always been my dream to help people in society, who are determined but physically or financially handicapped.
As a results of my touch in society, I've been able to put plans together to lookout for an extra means of making income to tackle my goals.
This stimulated me to go into a lucrative and fast earning business; wood processing. My business does logging, sawing, polination and seedkings, planing and direct sales... Although my income (profit) is not enough for me, I consider my business satisfactory since I feel my dreams being achieved, looking at the number of people I pay at the end of every week as my employees; people who may have been social deviants if not employed.
Even at the age of 26, as I am, I still work to employ people who are over 50 years. Yes! I think this is achievement enough and my quest for a loan is to be able to buy equipments and machinery and also make more inputs to expand the business and also to increase income and eventually, employment.
As a businessman, it has always been my desire to primarily bring unemployed youth together, to help do something meaningful for their lives. I am into wood processing. But a results of low capital input and low profit returns, my dream of expanding my business has always been an illusion. I really would like Zidisha to help me raise quite some good sum of money to able to expand my business and rake in more unemployed youth; which in it's own sense will reduce unwarranted social vices in our Ghanaian society.
