About
King Microfinance is a club at King High School, in Tampa, FL. We exist to help students gain actual experience in lending. We do this by collecting money from each member, then break off to do research on potential borrowers. After completing the research, we each give a short presentation to the group supporting our proposed borrower. We then vote on who we will lend to, and finally initiate the loan.
Our goal is to gain experience in the field of banking and loan making while helping other people in developing countries.
