About Me

My name is Andrey Moraa born in a family of ten. I went to a local primary school called Mayenje primary school. I passed with flying colors and secured a scholarship in high school. I worked hard in school and my efforts saw me through education unlike my siblings. I later went to a medical training institute where i trained as a nurse. I completed my training and am yet to be employed.
I started banana farming to supplement my education funding. i used the revenues to fund almost half of my fees. Being in a community with high cultural value for bananas, i got an advantage to promote my banana farming. My child is exited with farming and she always dream of being a teacher in future. I often use my past time in educating my community on how to cultivate bananas of high quality as well as to value girl child education.

My Business

My business involves providing ripe bananas to my clients.I grow the bananas in quarter of an acre my mother owns. The venture is viable ,but I am financially constrained and so can not save enough money for expansion.
In my community bananas are the staple food hence demand far outweighs the supply.I always ensure i add manure in farm and add organic manure to ensure i get good ,healthy and admirable banana fruits.
I choose this business ,because the demand for banana fruits is high and that means more revenues and profits. The banana tree also mature fast and is less time consuming and therefore i could get time to study.
I spend $40 on farm maintenance,in a good month I make $150 profit.
I use my money to pay for my fees and take care of my siblings and my elderly parents.I also save some money for my expansion plan underway.

Loan Proposal

Dear lenders I am once again humbly requesting you to support me for farm. I am requesting for a loan to expand my farm further by quarter an acre. I will use the loan to purchase manures for the whole farm as well as 50 more Tissue culture bananas for planting. Happy and prosperous 2015

Hi John, thanks for the update. We wish Moraa all the best and good recovery! Is the loan already invested? If not, Moora could payback the full amount early and ask for a new one once she feels recovered and ready for her expansion project..
    Best Regards
