About Me

My names are Anthony njoroge kinyua, born and grew in Nakuru town.I am 34years of age.i attended Menengai Primary and High School.I joined JKUAT for Diploma in IT and later on i furthered to Barchelor of Science in the same institution.
Through much support from my mother who is a single parent i have been able to complete studies and acquire much enterpreneurship skills. The already running business was passed to us,me and my mother by my late dad in 1995.Where i live, there is a relative high demand for middle class housng in our town. Thus, i have engaged myself to Constructing residential houses for middle class society. My unique hobby is housing and farming. In addition to this I have developed an interest in carwash business.

My Business

With the increase in number of cars in the town, there is growing need for car cleaning service....the activity which require minimal capital is small business which does not require much in terms of labour and assets. The main product here is a clean car, sparkling as new. Given the nature of our roads and current weather conditions, dry and dusty, Most vehicles get dusty and dirty thereby creating the need for car cleaning service.

My decision to start the service is based on the low running cost and the high demand which combined Brings in some good profit

It will cost me $40 per week to hire a washing machine, $10 per week to buy 1500 liters of water while $1.6 will be used to buy soaps and cleaning clothes. All this will service approximately 10 vehicles per day at a service charge of $2dollar per car, which translates to $140 per week.

I intend to raise more capital and purchase a car washing machine for the business.

Loan Proposal

The already constructed structures 35 dollars to complete 4 temporary houses as cost for purchasing iron sheets for USD10, windows at USD12 and doors at USD11. The remaining 10 dollars will help in purchasing cement to be used in making the floor ..The Remaining 19 dollars will be used in purchasing materials for the security perimeter wall, i.e. USD10 a for concrete blocks, USD5 for ballast and remaing for labour. This will provide gomes to several habitats in nakuru county also an income for me to run other errands.
