Warm greetings !
My name is James Afram a former student of Kwame Nkrumah university of science and technology- KNUST. A graduated with a second class upper in electrical engineering. After my service with North poles electrical engineering firm i garnered more experience which really help me as i inch further on with my life.
In Ghana , indeed there are no jobs, the struggle to get a job right after National service is a probability of chances. But i stood firm in my capacity to uphold and fend for myself, my career and my ambition as well. Way back in school we were introduce to so many courses and the most one that sets our doubts packing is idea of venturing into an entrepreneurship business.
my experience from Northpoles landed me in acquiring the practical experiences from the abstract, making me to do more of industrial wiring and household wiring too. in fact, because i was very humble and eager to learn i garnered a lot of exposure making me heavily endowed with quality experience and in service delivery. Mr Young a white man the CEO of northpoles engineering was so good to me and as a results of the good relationship he gave me more jobs to build up my experience , little did i known he was grooming me for my own good.
i used to do all the dirty jobs,washing the cloths and working gears of all my senior colleagues just to make them feel important so that they can teach me some preliminary things i sometimes find difficult with. i used that as an avenue to tap knowledge for my own good.
After 3years , of extension of service with northpoles electrical s i became jobless when their contract ended. and i began to think of what to do with my life.

My Business

I finally landed on a business idea, i started going rounds and doing house to house wiring for a fee. since the job situation in Ghana is hot as a kitchen, i did this menial jobs till i again landed on a good contract to do a full house wiring . the deal was good and the contract sum was attractive for me as a starter.
i bought some few working tools and the materials for the job, after the work done i made an income about GHS4300 which is tantamount to 1108 USD. I was indeed happy and began to put in more efforts to expand my business until the disaster happen. i lost my lovely father who took good care of me when i was in school and this man had barely not live to enjoy the fruits of his labor.
Before things would have been good for us he had long gone. i became devastated i spent much of my small holdings into his ailment until his sudden demise.
Now he is gone there becomes a gap for me to refill, and here i am now drained down , my dreams perished , my networks now blurred.
i came across zidisha from a trusted friend who advise me to join zidisha.

Loan Proposal

After receiving my first loan and had successfully completed my repayment terms i give thanks to my sponsors, that is my great wonderful lenders for helping me complete the first half of my project.

I also thank them that through their support and love i have also been able to acquire soft and hard skills training from various workshop training in electrical and industrial wiring , and this has been their concerted efforts. I say kudos and a big thank you to all my lenders,

Today have been another day and business is still on going. I wish to seek for a loan from my lender to help me buy some electrical cable wires for the wiring of a wooden church structure which is ongoing project. This is one of my contracts after my return from the trip.

Work is ongoing and am to wire the building. I therefore needs enough funds to help complete this projects on time for my clients as soon as possible.

In completing this project and handing it over, my contract price will be 780 GHS and i will used part of this income to repay my loan in full.
