I respond to the name Collins Opoku Asante. I am 32 yeares old and also in a family of seven. my mother,father,four siblings one lady and three gentlemen. I started my elementory school at sosoaso R/C primary,continued at St. James Senior High School at Sunyani, i then completed and continued at St. Joseph College of Education also at Bechem of wich i obtained my diploma in basic education. by Gods grace i have completed my first degree and now a teacher at S.D.A junior high school Berekum. with it all i also work as a farmer aside the teaching as a profession because, i love farming. I have being in this business since 2006 with a capital of 900 dollars with a worker

My Business

I started my maize farm in the year 2006 with a base capital of about 900 dollars. i was able to raise 30 bags of maize half a year, i got into this maize farming production i have desire and passion just to supply food for my community and my country as well. i have arrange with some schools and other market women whom i supply with. Today i have about 6 aches of maize which is yet to be harvested .i am able to employ five more workers who assist me in my farm . i am seeking a way farwed to expand my farm as well so that i can employ many unemployed youth in my community. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

Thanks to all lenders for accepting my application to become part of this noble organization (Zidisha). As i have already describe my self as a farmer, i purposely started this business just to increase food production in my community and country,and slso to reduce unemployed youth as well.i will use this loan if granted to buy 8 morden spraying machines which may cost about $900.00and also 60 boxes of agrochemicals (weedicides) will also cost about $110.00,which in total may need $200.00. These machines and chemicals will be used to spray or clear all unwanted crops to help the maize yield much to increase my profit gained . I can repay the loan if granted because, with the help of this morden machines i am about to buy will help me reduce the cost of labour of which will help me to increase gained always. Thank you.

    I want pay less than my usual schedule because i have recently gone to buy another 2 bags of fertilizer which will help my farm soon much but wish to make all my lenders know that my business is really progressing with their loan given. Thank you
