My name is Oppong Christopher. I am twenty-nine years old. I attended Drobo D/C primary and junior high school. After that, I gained an admission into senior high school for the years 2004-2007. After senior high, I also gained admission into tertiary institution, where I studied for two years in a laboratory program and was awarded a certificate in medical laboratory technology. When I completed my two-year course, I was employed as a casual worker at Bonita Health Center at Brodi. I started my own business from the small amount of money that I was saving at the bank.

The most unique thing about where I live is that the people there are very kind and caring. I like dogs. This animal has helped me a lot, simply because the animal has prevented me from being attacked by the bad people who live in my [area]. Thank you.

My Business

I own a licensed chemical shop [pharmacy], and the drugs that I provide or sell to my customers are Diclofenac, anti-malaria drugs, Ciprofloxacin, Amoxycillin, etc. These drugs that I sell to my customers are very useful because ones like anti-malaria drugs prevent children, pregnant women and others from getting malaria.

I have chosen this business simply because I want to help the people in my area from getting sick and other infections. Some of the drugs are very costly, especially the anti-malaria drugs, so when I go to the market for drugs, I prefer to buy the ones that I can afford because of the price. I use my profit to do my investment so that when my loan is financed, I will not suffer to pay the loan. Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I will be happy if my loan proposal is funded. I will use this money to buy medicines for resale , some of the medicines are Artesunate amodiaquine and other anti-malarias, Paracetamol, Diclofenac gel and tablets, ibuprofen, antibiotics like amoxycilline ,ciprofloxacin, metronidsazole,iron deficiency syrups and capsules etc.
Again I sell registered herbal medicines at my chemical shop

I am a health worker and when I started work here I realise the people here needed this business so I started it. I have seen that this business is very lucrative but it needs capital to do it effectively .This is the reason why I need this loan to enable me to get more goods for my customers.

This loan if funded will help me support my family, and also help me to further my education and at the same time expand this business to get more profit to pay the loan back.
