About Me

Boamah Mary is my name. Genetically I have my ancestors at NYAMEFIE at Drobo in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I commenced my basic Education at NYAMEFIE and passed and joined the second cycle institution and read business as a course. All the while my father was a business man who dealt in books and other stationery materials. He had a vision for his children. He had branches of his shop in other towns. Right after my second cycle education he handed one to me to run all by myself. This was how I overcame hardship because my father had three wifes which brought competition. We the people of Africa have a problem with Education and the acquisition of knowledge. We previously gave less attention to Knowledge but now we are all working hand in hand to curb this from Africa. This is why I love my business because I am also doing a part by distribution of books to students of all class. I recently got married. This was because of business. I love and gave much attention to business to the extend that I nearly lost appetite for marriage. Thank God that I am back on track. I love my husband. He is also ready to move with me in business and cause a revolution in the family of us. We love to give birth to two because of our vision and business.

My Business

My vision is to help people achieve the best in academics and in knowledge so I am a dealer in stationery Items. Some of which are Pupils textbooks and exercise books , students textbooks and graduates text books all of different authors. Writing items like pens, markers, mathematical sets and among others. Scriptural books like Qu'ran, Bible of different versions like NIV, KJV, NKJV, and among others are also there. Story books and books of great men of God and people who have made history are also there. All this are necessary so long as knowledge is concerned and also since knowledge is power. All people including literates and scholars depend on this items. Schools recommend them for pupils and students. Parents also recommend them for their wards filling the shop with this Items costs me about $3000.the Items are distributed and a profit of $1000 is made on every time I stock the shop. This profit is added to the original capital any time and is used in stocking the shop. This is to make sure that any thing can be found in my shop at any time and nothing is lacking. Part is used on improving my home . part of it is also used on transportation fee on the books during distribution of books and other items to schools . In nut shell my vision is my business hence I spend much of my time and profit on the business. Part of the profit, about $500 is also consumed on the transportation on distribution of books to various schools.

Loan Proposal

I will buy pamphlets of all book writers into my shop. Examples of some are ;aki Ola series, primus interperis series, calculus series, sap series, koff series, alpha and omega series, inkonim series and other versions of the Bible including new living translation, new international version and other versions of the scriptures in bulk. This is going to require about $3000.The above will escalate the profit outcome of $5000 periodically . It will make me a supplier of stationary to the other schools of my district.

There were no payments from March 2018 to May 2020, when I finally gave up and transferred the loan to the Zidisha Members Loan Fund.
