About Me

I am a university graduate.I graduated in 2013 and i was hoping to get employed.But to my disappointment i was not lucky.Every where i went they would either ask me to give them some amount of money so that they can employ me.I stayed unemployed for 6 months that's when an idea struck me to start a cybercafe so as to pay my bills like rent,electricity etc. My parents assisted me by buying a computer. I asked football friends to help me acquire a printer and photocopier.To my delight they contributed substantial amount that i was able to acquire the printer,photocopier and the remaining amount i was able to rent a small place. The problem was operating cost since i needed printing papers and printing ink.i managed a loan from a family friend within which i was able to repay within 3 months of operation. Right now i need a loan of about $100 as an operation cost. To purchase rim of photocopy papers which cost about $12,photocopier ink cost about$18,printer ink cost about $12 ,electricity cost of about $35 and the repair and maintenance which include internet cost of about $25. I am a football player in County league in my county with KARI sportive football club.

My Business

I own a cybercafe with 3 computers.One computer(a laptop that i got through World bank sponsorship at university) is an administrator computer while the two is for the customer use.I have a small printer and a small photocopier. The business is season based where it starts to pick at March and fades during the months of November to mid February. Regardless of that i am able to earn minimum of $5 at low day and $18 at peak day.I offer photocopy services,printing services,typing services and browsing internet services.The earnings that i get i p lough back to business and the rest is basically personal use. I started with two computers but i have managed to purchase one to add to the existing ones.I have three currently operating.costs are usually photocopy papers, ink, rent, electricity,internet bill to service provider and maintenance of the computers e.g upgrading antivirus etc

Loan Proposal

I would wish to acquire a loan to help me purchase photo copy papers,photocopy ink,printing ink,and to subscribe to efficient internet provider.This will cost me about $97.but if i get a loan of $50 i will manage to raise $40 and it will be a boost to my business.my business will grow by 2%
