About Me

I am Badu Matthew about 29 years of age; I am a native of seikwa in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. I am a student with the aim of becoming a professional teacher. I am a third born of family of five; my parents are in their old ages. I am a health record assistant at a private hospital in Seikwa. After senior high school I took a course as a health extension worker. After that I was employed by Ghana Health service on contract basis. Later I was employed at a private hospital in Seikwa. Whiles working I perused an education programme on distance basis. After school the search for job has not been easy due to the freeze of employment by the government. I have applied to the Ghana education service and have not been called up till now. Because of this I have no option but to stay at the present post.
Moreover, I am also a farmer and I plant maize, pepper and groundnut. I use the money generated from the farming to support my education.
I want to pursue a bachelor degree in basic education which I believe will help to brightening my chances of becoming a professional teacher.
I would appreciate if I am able to raise this loan. This will help to expand my farm as well as to further my education and also to support my aged parents.

My Business

I am a student and at the same time a farmer. I have completed a Diploma programme in basic education I am currently looking for employment as a teacher.
As I mention earlier on, I am a farmer and the crops I plant are maize, pepper and groundnut. I do this farming to support my education. My farm is at Seikwa in the Brong Ahafo region of Ghana. After harvesting my produce I sell them to the traders who buy in bulk for resale in the cities or for export. I also sell some of these produce in smaller quantities at Seikwa weekly market to those who buy for family consumption. The farming helps me to give employment to others in my area. Since I am working I don’t get much time to go and work in the farm, because of this I have employ some body to be in charge of the farm. Again I employ others in weeding the land and harvesting of the crops on contract basis.
I would be most grateful in raising this loan as it will help me to hire the services of tractors and also buy agro inputs for application.
This will help me to settle the full amount of the loan and also get money to pay my university tuition fees. It will also help me to support my aged parents and siblings.
If this loan application is finance, I will work harder to pay it back and abide by all the rules and regulations of the zidisha community.
Thank you.

Loan Proposal

I would very grateful if my loan application is approved and financed. I would use this money to support my farming project in other to get money for my university education. I want to further my education to pursue a bachelor degree in basic education but due to financial difficulties I have not been able to do that.
Some of the item I will buy for planting are maize, pepper , and groundnut. This item are on a higher demand in my area so there is always a ready market for them. I am expecting a profit level of about 200 dollars from my project.
The total amount for my project is 258 dollars . Although my starting loan amount is too small compare to the cost of the project, I believe if I am able to pay I will qualify for higher amounts.
This project will help me to provide food to my family and and also support them in their daily needs and also help me pay my university tution fees.

I am looking forward for your usual cooperation and support.

Thank you.
