My name is George Odhiambo Dulo, i was born in lodiani of the then Nakuru town in kenya, we later moved to Eldoret where i grew up, i attended uasin gishu primary school and later kandie primary school, i later joined Ambira high school for my secondary school education .i started doing business immediately after that,to help raise money for my university education ,thats how i ended up in my current business of supplying consumer goods in wholesale to shops and other outlets. i also have a poultry farm and hatchery.my hobby is singing which iam slowly turning into a business.
I deal with the supply of consumer goods such as school stationeries such as biro pens ,pencils books, household goods of all kinds soaps dertergents tea leaves e.t.c,
these goods are used everyday in our homes and hence they are needed everyday.
I like these kind of business because i sell the goods in bulk and i also make my profit on the spot
I bring in the goods in bulk and my working capital is now ksh 100000 which i intend to improve the expenses are few as i only need to fuel my motorcycle and the cost of eating lunch only, the revenues are nice as i am able to make over ksh 2000 daily and am able to save at least ksh 1000 per day.
i use my profits to improve the business and pay for my university education.
I also run a hatchery and a poultry farm dealing mainly in chickens.
I will use the loan to buy a quarter hectare piece of land which i and my family will use for poultry (chicken )farming . The piece of land i have identified costs $750 , with an addition from my little savings and the loan, i will be able to buy the piece of land. This will help us save and invest$80, we pay monthly for the house rent, as we will also build a house to accommodate us on the land. The land can accommodate roughly three hundred birds or more, we will therefore have an extra income from the sale of eggs and birds. I expect a 30% increase in the household income . The piece of my mind in knowing that we will be able to put on the land as many birds as possible is also heavenly, as you cant do this on someone else s land. As for payment of the loan, i will use the profits i get from my school stationery supply service to repay the loan. Thank my lenders as you plan to invest in this project.
