About Me

I am a Kenyan Graphics Designer and Computer Technician. I began this work after I finished my high school education on 2010.
I grew up in a family of 5 children, am the only boy in the family and i am blessed with a son and a lovely wife.
I used to sell ice cream for my mom wen i was still in primary school, after that i would go to a friends computer shop and spend sometime there cause i used to manage his play station.
i began to get interested in what a computer could do to make work easier.
i got the chance to learn computer in high school and that's how i got my computer skills and am using them for a living.
in 2016 i signed up with tree house online which i started my course online on website designing, i got the knowledge of website programing languages, that is PHP, JavaScript, html and CSS.

I work for my own company as head of graphics and digital agency that deals with;

1. Graphic Design
2. General Printing
3. Promotional Materials
4. Advertising
5. Interior Décor
6. Websites

My Business

Due to my passion towards Graphical work and websites, I have decided to upgrade my business which deals with general printing, branding, digital agency.

Requirements
1 plotter machine at Ksh 50,000, approximately $500
1 3d Heat Press Machine at Ksh 32,000, approximately $320
TOTAL = 82, 000, approximately $820


Good news for me is that i already have an office, computer, full year working permit and a printer which i got the loan from zidisha and i finished repaying back.

Softwares that I have for my graphical work;

5. Adobe Dreamweaver


Charges for graphical work;

i. For designing and printing I will be charging Ksh. 500 for desing and Ksh 10 for normal printing A4.
ii. For mug and plate branding I will be charging Ksh 500 per mug or plate.
iii. For typing I will be charging Ksh 30 inclusive of printing per A4
iv. plotter printing per banner ksh. 800, satin ksh. 1,000.

Charges for website;

simple front end webstie i charge ksh. 30,000/=
back-end coding depends with the type of services or products but minimum i charge ksh. 40,000

Loan Proposal

Requirements for my proposed business that i will buy includes
1 HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 at Ksh 20,000, approximately $189
1 Heat Press Machine at Ksh 10,000, approximately $95
Single Business Permit at Ksh. 7000, approximately $66
2 Months Rent at Ksh. 8000, approximately $75
TOTAL = 45, 000, approximately $425
the remaining balance will come from my annual savings.

the benefits include;
1. profit boost
2. increase revenue to the local government (City Council)
3. decrease movements from locals in search of services that i will offer to them
4. entertainment to the children

i expect 30% rise in my profit, this is proven by the following;
1. chances of getting a customer per day is 6 out of 10 people to play a game, that creates a safe margin for the business to run, save a profit and still clear its debts.
2. chances of getting a customer on graphics designing is high cause i already have my personal clients, i wont go a day without a single design job.
