My name is Esther Nthenya Mutyota. My principal line of business is farming activities. I have a small farm in machakos county masii constituency. I plant majorly maize and beans which I harvest and sell to the local market. with enough capital I would love to expand my farm and increase my yields

Farming. I have a passion for farming. Farming benefits a lot of people in the community and enables us to be self sustainable. Through my farming activities I am able to feed my family and take my children to school.

Loan Proposal

buy a huge tank to store water for watering my farm during the dry season.
I was born in Machakos county Masii division in a village called Kavumbu. kavumbu is one of the most dryest places in masii. this is why I decided to venture into to farming.I do farming of maize and beans and other grain crops. I normally relie on the rain season to do my planting. however the rain here is not relieable at all. I plan to use the loan to buy a huge tank to store some water during the rain season which i' ll use to water my crops during the dry season. this will increase my crop yield greatly and enable me to support my family. My family consist of my elderly parents , two sisters and an elder brother. the parents are quite elderly hence unable to support the family financially. this makes all the burden lie with me. one of my sister is in college and her school fees is quite high. it is always a difficult time when a semester begins since I am always short of her school fees. it is really a struggle to pay her school fees with my little income. once I manage to get enough funds to pay the water tank this will greatly increase my income making our survival much much better. Please consider my application and I assure you you will have improved the life of our family. I am quite a hardworking person. it is just that I do not have the resources to boost my business. I strongly believe having enough supply of water at my farm will do the magic. with the increased income I will be able to do a lot of good. both in my family and community at large. our immediate neighbour is a widow with young children with no source of income. it is always my desire to help her out especially when it comes to educating her children. but with my little income which is barely enough to support my family I can not do much to help her but I try to help as much as I can. this situation is spread across my village where we have so many people lacking the most basic needs. I believe food shelter clothing and education to children are a must to have necessities. I believe with my increased income I will be able to do good in the society. I thank God I have something that I believe can help me greatly unlike so many people who are helpless. that is why I want to maximise the usage of my farm. the farm is quite fertile I believe but without enough water I am unable to maximise its usage. I believe farming is one of the most profitable venture that one can engage into. the probability of making a loss is very minimal. this is especially true when you have ample supply of water to water your crops. this is why I strongly believe in this. I also have a plan to enroll into an college that teaches agriculture and business management so as to understand the best modern farming methods as well as know how to manage my business well. with the increased knowledge in my field I believe one day I will be a great farmer.
