About Me
My name is Zalissa Kabore/Congo, and I was born in 1959 in a billage situated about 150 km from the city of Ouagadougou. My father had several wives, and our mother was the last one. My father was the traditional chief of our village. I have been married since 1980 and I live currently with my husband in Ouagadougou in sector 25. We have five children, four girls and a boy.
My Business
I have sold firewood for almost four years. I go in the brush looking for wood to bring home. Often I also buy wood from men who go cut the brush with their carts. I sell a bundle of wood for 1,500, 2,000 or 3,000 FCFA according to size. With financial support, I can grow my business and buy a large quantity of wood to offer to my customers. This is why I have come to your microfinance organization.

Je suis Madame KABORE/ CONGO Zalissa né en mille neuf cent cinquante neuf (1959) dans un village situé à environ cent cinquante kilomètres de la ville de Ouagadougou. Mon papa avait plusieurs femmes et notre mère était la toute dernière de ses femmes. Mon père était le chef coutumier de notre village. Je suis mariée depuis mille neuf cent quatre vingt (1980) et je vis actuellement avec mon mari à Ouagadougou au secteur vingt cinq et nous avons au total cinq enfants soit quatres filles et un garçon.
My Business
Je suis dans la vente du bois il y'a presque quatres années. Je part dans la brousse cherché le bois pour revenir vendre chez moi à domicile.Souvent aussi je paie le bois avec les hommes qui partent couper en brousse avec des charettes. Je vends un fagot de bois à mille cinq cent, deux mille et trois milles Franc selon la quantité du fagot. Avec une aide financière je pourrai agrandir mon commerce en acheter une grande quantité de bois pour mettre à la disposition de mes clients; Raison pour laquelle je viens vers votre institution de microfinance.
