About Me
My name is Edmond Zongo. I was born November 20th 1982 in Koudougou City located in the province of Boulkiende. I am a tailor and stylist in the Tampoui area, a neighborhood in the city of Ouagadougou. I am married and have a child. I was educated and have an acceptable level of secondary studies and have also benefited from the experience of life that is a different kind of school. I had a difficult time after my apprenticeship because I still do not have my own workshop. Today I thank God Almighty because I can work for myself.

Perfectly situated in the Tampoui neighborhood in the city of Ouagadougou, my sewing workshop offers services for men and women. Currently I have bought three machines and I work with two apprentices. I am overwhelmed by customers, especially in the busy holiday periods. Tailoring prices vary according to the design ordered by the customer. For example, for a simple pants design I charge 1,750 francs or 2000 francs, depending on the order. For a simple short sleeve shirt I charge between 1500 and 2000 francs. Regarding the prices for women's clothing it is very difficult to give an amount, but all in all prices range from 2,000 francs to 15,000 francs. I wish to get your support to purchase one more machine and to recruit two more members of staff. In time I plan to do an extension of this workshop into a larger space.

Bien situé dans le quartier Tampoui dans la ville de Ouagadougou, mon atelier de couture offre des services pour Homme et Dame. Actuellement j'ai pu payer trois machines et je travaille avec deux apprentis. Je suis très débordé par les clients surtout à l'approche des fêtes. Les prix de coutures varient selon le modèle voulu par le client. Par exemple pour un pantalon simple je cout a 1750 francs ou 2000 francs CFA selon. Pour les chemises simples manche courte je le fais a 1500 a 2000 francs CFA. Pour ce qui concerne les coupes pour Dame il est très difficile de donner un montant , mais tout compte fait les prix vont de 2000 francs a 15000 francs CFA. Je souhaite bénéficier de votre soutien afin de me payer une machine de plus et de recruter deux personnes. A la longue j'envisage faire une extension de ce atelier pour un plus grand espace. Merci
