About Me

My name is Ousmane Bah, born in 1979 in Boké, son of Mary and Souleymane Gassama, and I am single . I spent my childhood with my parents in Boké. In 1986 I went to the school Youra Tawel Camra in Boké until sixth grade before going to junior high in 1994 at the school Filira Boke where I passed the with a BEPC in 1999 and tried twice for a high school BAC in 2003 and 2004, finally entering Boké's vocational training center for training in heating mechanism. After 3 years of study, I graduated in 2007 and completed an internship of 6 months in the Guinea Bauxite Company (CBG). During my training I did not meet many difficulties because of the help my father provided, but in 2009 he fell ill of myopia and eventually lost his sight, so I had to make my own way in order to support the family. It was long wait for a job and I had to work to get anywhere. I met a niece who traded in fresh fish between Boké and Kamsar, and after doing business with her, I sold my motorcycle to my father for 2,500,000 GNF (about $345 US) out of which I invested 800,000 GNF (about $110 US) for the care of my father and 1,500,000 GNF (about $207 US) for starting my business.

My Business

I lead a trade business which involves buying fresh fish at the port of Kamsar to sell at the large market of Boké. Kamsar, with its maritime location, provides very good quality fish, which is why I chose this city for trade, not only to provide the Boké population with very good quality fresh fish but also to enable neighboring towns (Sangaredi and Gaoual) to import fish from Boké. In Kamsar I buy fish at 100,000-150,00 GNF (about $14-21 US) per box depending on the size of fish. The transport of the boxes costs 5,000 GNF (about 70 cents). When I arrive in Boké I resell other boxes for retail and for those from neighboring towns for wholesale at 130,000 GNF (about $18 US) up to 185,000 GNF (about $25 US) per box depending on the size, and the profit margin varies from 30,000-35,000 GNF (about $4-5 US) per box. I sell at least 10 cartons per week and my average monthly profit is 600,000 GNF (about $83 US). The profits help me meet some of my and my family's needs. This is why I request a loan, so that I will be able to be more active in my work and thus gain more profits with which to develop my business.

Loan Proposal

I seek this loan to be able to more movement in my fish trade by buying at least 15 fish where some cardboard cartons and other costs 13,8USD 20,7USD and this will allow me to make one trip for resell in the week to travel between two to three and Boke Kamsar, this will help me reduce the expenses and have more profit.

Je Suis Bah Ousmane, né à Boké en 1979 ,fils de Souleymane et de Marie Gassama,je suis célibataire .
Jai passé toute mon enfance auprès de mes parents à Boké, en 1986 Jai été scolarisé au groupe scolaire Youra Tawel Camra de Boké où Jai fait mes classes de maternelles jusqu’en 6ème Année avant d’accédé au collège en 1994 à l’école Filira de Boké d’où Jai passé le BEPC (brevet d’étude du premier cycle)en 1999 puis échoué a deux reprise au BAC en 2003 et 2004 enfin orienté au Centre de Formation professionnelle de Boké pour une formation de 3ans en chaudronnerie et après le centre en 2007 Jai effectué un stage de 6 mois à la compagnie de bauxites de Guinée (CBG).
Au cours de ma formation Jai pas rencontré beaucoup de difficultés a cause de l’effort que fournissait mon père pour ma formation mais, c’est en 2009 il est tombé malade de la myopie et finalement il a perdu sa vue ainsi j’était obligé de prendre mon destin en main pour pouvoir soutenir la famille ,c’était long d’attendre le travail et il fallait crée pour s’sen sortir soudain, Jai rencontré une nièce qui faisait le commerce de poisson frais entre Boké et Kamsar ,après avoir conclu de faire affaires avec elle, jai revendu la moto de mon père à 2500000GNF d’où Jai investi 800000GNF pour les soins de mon père et débuté mes activités avec 1500000GNF .

My Business

Je mène une activité commerciale qui consiste à acheté du poisson frais au port de kamsar pour enfin revendre au grand marche de Boké.
Kamsar par sa potentialité maritime fourni de très bonne qualité de poisson, sans quoi Jai choisis ce commerce pour non seulement fournir à la population de Boké une très bonne qualité de poisson frais mais aussi permettre aux villes voisines (Sangaredi et Gaoual) de s’approvisionner du poisson a partir de Boké.
A Kamsar j’achète du poisson à 100000GNF et 150000GNF par carton selon la grandeur des poissons, le transport du carton est de 5000GNF ,arriver à Boké je revend d’autres cartons en détail et pour ceux qui viennent des villes voisines en gros soit 130000GNF jusqu’à 185000GNF par carton en fonction de la grandeur d’où la marge bénéficiaire varie de 30000 à 35000GNF par carton au moins 10 cartons par semaine et mon bénéfice mensuel normal est de 600000GNF. Les profils me servent de subvenir à certains de mes besoins et contribué pour la dépense familliale.C’est pour quoi je sollicite un prêt financier pour faire plus de mouvement et réalisé plus d’intérêt afin de pouvoir développer mon activité.

Je sollicite ce pret pour pouvoir faire plus de mouvement dans mon commerce de poisson en achetant au moins 15 cartons de poisson d'où certains carton coùte 13,8USD et d'autres 20,7USD et cela va me permettre de faire un seul voyage pour revendre dans la semaine que de faire deux a trois voyage entre Boke et kamsar ,cela va m'aidé a reduire les depenses et avoir plus de profit.
