About Me

My name is Makhtar Mbengue and I am a young driver. I went to middle school and dropped out in 8th grade. I live with my mother and father in a big family in a suburb. I have brothers, sisters and aunts, we all live in the same house. My father is the only breadwinner. One of my sisters is in a private school and I have a brother who is a college student. My father is the one in charge of their education. My father is a teacher and gives private classes. He doesn't have anytime left because of all he has to pay for. That is why I took driving classes two years ago and had my driving license. I asked my father to provide me with a car to make money. With what I got from him, the money I got from my tontine a year ago and the help of my mother who is a businesswoman, I was able to buy an old car.

My Business

Presently I own an old car. I pick up students who pay for a month at a time. The 30 students pay CFAF 15,000, 10,000 or 20,000 a month depending on the commute. At the end of the month, I have some profit and I help my father with water and electricity bills. That was what I wanted. Now I have more and more clients and the car is small. I need a loan from Zidisha to buy another car or trade my car with a new one and paying for the additional amount. If possible, I would like to hire somebody else in case I am not able to fulfill my duties or if I am sick or help other jobless young drivers with a job. I earn a good living and I am able to save some money with this job.

About Me

Je m’appelle makhtar mbengue, je suis jeune chauffeur, j’ai fais les cours jusqu’en classe de 4ème secondaire, je vis avec ma mère et mon père dans une grande famille dans la banlieue. J’ai des frères et sœurs et des tantes dans la maison, il n’y avait que mon père qui travailler dans la maison. J’ai une sœur qui est dans une école privé et frère étudiant et tous sont à la charge de mon père. Mon père est un professeur et fais des cours particuliers il n’a pas de temps à cause des charges de la maison vu la situation j’ai fais des cours de conduites y a deux ans et j’ai eu mon permis de conduire. J’ai parler à mon père qu’il me trouve une voiture dont je pourrais utiliser pour avoir de l’argent. Et avec la tontine dont j’avais gagné ya un an que j’ai acheté un clando plus le soutien de ma maman qui est commerçante.

My Business

Actuellement j’ai une voiture clando dont je prends des élèves qui ont abonné jusqu’à la fin du mois et sur les 30 élèves ils paient 15000 ou 10000 ou 20000 f le mois ca dépend du trajet. Et à la fin du mois je me retrouve avec un peu de bénéfice et j’aide mon père à payer les facture d’eau et électricité et c’était ca mon souhait. Maintenant la demande augmente et la voiture est petite je voudrais avoir un prêt à zidisha pour acheter une autre voiture ou donner ma voiture avec de l’argent pour avoir une autre et si possible chercher une aide au cas ou j’ai un empêchement ou suis malade par exemple et faire travailler aussi les jeunes chauffeurs qui n’ont pas de travail. Je gagne bien ma vie et j’arrive à faire d’économie avec ce boulot.
