About Me

Hello Zidisha Family I am a Kenyan born and bred in Nakuru County, Kenya. I grew up in a humble family of 2 siblings where I am the 1st born. Since my early days in elementary school, I did work hard as my parents struggled to educate me through high school. I did well in my high school education and I got an opportunity to join Egerton university where I did my diploma in I.C.T. However, since graduating I struggled in getting employment due to high unemployment levels in the country. Despite all I joined a community group which did training in small scale famming helped in me skills of farming. I started small scale farming in our home as part of getting food and earning income. This has enabled me to earn some income over the years as well as I did my freelance in I.T solutions. With better planning, I believe I can tap more online opportunities as well as venture full scale in farming and grow it into a venture that can employ more young people.

My Business

My business basically entails working online on various project such as website creation, Graphic design, software (database) and online marketing through social media. I Have also ventured into small scale faming which was inspired by a community group in our home are which trained me in faming as part of earning income and food for our family. Am planning on expanding the farming business to large scale farming in potatoes, spinach and tomatoes. since am not able to earn a lot in small scale.

Loan Proposal

Hello Lenders I intend to utilize the $ 1000 loan from Zidisha as follows:

a) I shall invest $ 500 into my I.T solutions business by buying additional to computers and expenses for the internet.
b) I also plan to invest around $ 300 in crop farming (carrots, spinach and potato farming) with intention of growing my revenues.
d) The remaining $ 200 used for emergency and doing abit of marketing.
This loan will be of help since I will be able to expand my business and increase revenue which part of it will go back to the business,the other as food for the family, savings and repayment of the loan. So that to have a better credit record.
