About Me

My name is Jemima Ndanu Ngui, Married with 3 children.I live in Kiambu county, Githurai 45 location.I am the fourth born in the family of 10 children.I was born in a rural village in Mwingi Sub county Kenya, studying to primary level and joined a technical institution to study dressmaking. To pay for the dressmaking course I worked as a house help for 4 years,after that I was able to leave that job and get other casual jobs.Today finally after passing through thick and thin I was able to spare some money in the beginning of this year and start a fruit vending business.Hoping that I will be able to earn and help my husband as we prepare our kids to have a better life and future.

My Business

With God's grace I started the grocery business with about $80.00 and now the revenue is about $150.00 in a month at the moment and monthly costs are $200.00.I use some part of the profit to help at home and the rest for family needs and tithe.Now that I have joined the ZIDISHA fraternity I know that with your help I will expand the business to increase the revenue and also head towards achieving my dreams,one of them being to join an adult education to study and register for the o level examination as private candidate.After that I will study further to become a ECDE teacher for the start as I aim higher than that.Blessings and thanks in advance for all the support I will receive here.

Loan Proposal

This business started as a fruit vending shop but now it has expanded to sell groceries, hopefully before the end of this year we will be selling chickens, cereals, charcoal and other stocks. With this loan I will add more stock which will increase the revenue and expand the business. This business vision is to grow into a supermarket in the near future. I believe that good things don't come easily and I am ready to take any risk so that I can accomplish my dreams, that I can also be in a position to help the poor and reduce poverty, like you my Lenders.
