About Me

my name is felix kiema Kalinda.. I'm from kitui, kenya. I'm a graduate from moi university with bachelor of science in project planning and management. Have also pursued a diploma in community development and social work welfare and a certificate in advanced solar technology from Strathmore University . The dream of owning a business has always been my key motivator in my life.
I was born and raised in a business family. Have been running my grandmothers business ever since i was in 13 years old and this has build my decision making and management skills.
This life in business has strengthened me to overcome day to day challenges. My skills in planning enables me to run my activities smoothly by bringing and understanding my customers and their needs.
Having been raised up by my grandmother, she tought me the importance of respecting and obeying our culture and believes.
When i look at my hobbies, i say, i usually have a great taste on technology but playing lawn tennis has also been a part of me.

My Business

My business is called Esokoyetu Kenya Ltd. It has other linked companies; Flitek Solar Systems, Wemari Interiors Ltd and Uzobora Services Ltd which i started after i joined university. The mother Company (Esokoyetu) was started in 2015. It was started from scratch and grew to a middle business. I started it with a capital of ksh 25000,in which, ksh 10000 was from my personal savings and ksh 15000 from a loan. My grandmother gave me a loan of ksh15000 which was paid after two months of working.
I always have a great taste on new technology and the emerging issues in modern technology. Through this,i had a market research on tech gadgets which were not common among the people from my area. Once i got the capital, i shipped my first products from china via aliexpress. This boosted my business.
The profits made were ploughed back to the business. I have been doing this since then and my business today,is wothy between ksh750000 and ksh 1200000.
All these have been achieved through my partnership with other online shopping platforms such Jumia kenya, kilimall, skygarden as a vendor.
Currently i'm working on my own platform UZOBORA Online shopping platform which deals with Electric and solar backup systems.
Every support i get from this platform (ZIDISHA) is highly appreciated.
cheers.
