Hallo to you all.My names are Zedekiah Omwenga Ogana.I am 28 years of age.I am a father,a hardworking, trustworthy and a business oriented person.I have one wife, two children.I am dedicated to work hard to see about my family’s brighter future. We are currently living together with an ophan whom we stay together in our home here in Mauche estate,Njoro Sub-county,Nakuru County,Kenya. This came after his mother died 5 years ago after a long illness of the deadly disease called A.I.D,s.I have been passionate about teaching my fellow youths of how to grow in business industry without depending on the rare employments opportunities in the country.
Apart from operating a retail shop,i also in my part time from Wednesdays to Saturdays, work with a volunteer group here in my location(Njoro) on the issues related to children’s rights awareness, called Nakuru Youth Volunteers Organization,.Thank you.
I operate a retail shop here at the Mauche Township,Kenya. My shop is called Neema General Shop.I have been operating my shop for the last three and half years now, after working for Woolmatt Supermarkets Ltd found in Kitale on a two years contract as a shop assistant. My business is lisenced under the Mauche Township Council Authorities and issued with a single business permit, which is renewable annually.
In my shop i sell all the household goods including foods stuffs like wheat flour,tea-leaves,rice,table-salt,maize flour, cooking oils(liquid & solid),soft drinks from local companies like Coca-cola among so many consumable goods and household goods. Also i sell plasitic items like basins,trays,water- dumpers,jerry-cans,jikos among other items.I usually opens my shop from Monday to Sunday at 6 a.m in the morning and closes at 9:30 p.m at night having satisfied my worthy customers. In average,i usuall gets a day's sale of roughly Ksh.25,000.After restocking,i'm left with roughly Ksh.1,300.per day's profit. My customers are the villagers within and the biggest number of students at the Njoro University and the neighbouring estates as well.
My business has been facing varous financial challenges for the last few months ,as most of my customers especially the villagers do get my services on credit, which they repay on weekly basis after they are paid from their respective working places. That is why i am pleading with the Zidisha Microfinance platform,to fund me with a loan so that i can maintain & restock my shop with more bulky goods and especiallly fast moving ones for the cash paying customers as well as the weekly paying customers.Through your kind support,my shop will have a new look and i promise you that i will get more new customers coming for their daily stuffs in my shop ,which sometimes i don't have as a result of lacking enough capital.I will be more guaranteed that my business will have a destiny through you generous support. This will enable me to cater enough for my family as well as expand my shop.I am praying that you will consider my shop and support it.Thank you and God bless you all.
Thank you my Zidisha Microfinance for consideration to boost my retail shop. For the last couple of months i had been receiving more customers who have been coming to buy to my shop. There has been a high demand for the fast moving goods especially the consumable goods(sugar,milk,corn-flour,rice e.t.c),but it has been hampered by lack of enough capital from me to stock enough.I am praying that all the customers will now enjoy coming for their daily basic goods as it was before and i will be rendering them with care while serving them.i am now confident that i will be getting more revenues and in return good profit. This guarantees me paying in time and without any problem from the profit i get each week.Kingly assist me with the shop stock to maintain my customers.thank you and support my small business to grow.
