About Me

I'm a young ambitious, smart & hard-working.Never giving up person, but most importantly always thankful for the gift of salvation.
My passion for business was developed & nurtured when I was in high school when I used to run school canteen as a Christian union treasury with a 2000 kshs capital upto 20000 kshs within 1 term only as it was my final year.I have been employed in supermarket as a cashier,in wholesale shops, until I stated my own business upto date.

My Business

Ido my best to save,to cut on un-necessary cost & to maximise on my sales as much as possible to actualize my ambitious goals in life for mutual benefit of all.

I have a small shop where I sell variety of goods like confectioners, detergents, stationary, drinks among others.

My biggest challenge so far is capital to supply my many customers all they want.

Loan Proposal

Boosting stock is my first priority, like beverages, mineral water, juices etc,as it's summer here in Kenya.
I also intend to boost my stationary section as it's back to school time.
In a nutshell, opportunities are endless & with your continued assistance,my unwavering persistence & determination anything is achievable eventually.

First & foremost my sincere apology for not repaying my loan as i had anticipated.
The house i was to complete is now fine & ready for occupation but no tenant yet, this is not unusual & I believe very soon i will get.
Another thing, i'm sorry i underestimated the cost & ended up spending more than my budget.
Finally,I plea for your patience as I have never & will never borrow with an intention of not repaying & very soon I will review my repayment upwards.
    Thanks...

I will be able to finish my first house & hopefully by very early June,i will have a tenant as they are constantly asking whether it's ok.
I will also boost my stock in the shop to increase my earnings & eventually grow my business and complete more unfinished houses, employing more youths in construction site & shop.

Hay my dear zidisha lenders, just to inform you of my progress,as your loans have boosted me a lot & i'm really grateful.
My shop is doing well & the proceeds i get i decided to bring up few rental houses in a small plot i have here in Thika.
I have been employing young skilled people in my construction, and also assisting my sister with a place to stay in the same compound as a caretaker. One house is almost complete & demand is good & will fetch me $ 40 per month, which will boost my shop & help me complete other houses.
All this is because of your loans & i honestly thank you very very much, keep up & God bless. I always tell my friends how helpful zidisha is & maybe once i will be a lender.
    Thanks...

Dear zidisha lenders,i'm really grateful for this opportunity & privilege from you all.
The main reason for reducing my instalment amount is largely because,i have had a sick elderly mother in the village & had to be attended to,hence affecting my finances in a way. She is ok now, thanks to God...

This funds will greatly assist me in restocking my shop, for instance stationary like exercise books, geometrical sets, erasers among others.
Also with the Kenyan government policy of 100% entry into secondary education, form one students will increase & they will require items like washing basin, blankets, bedsheets & covers, mattresses among others which i will also stock.
This will increase my customers as well as retain the current ones, for more profits and hence grow my businesses for the benefits of all in various aspects.

First and foremost is to deeply thank my dear zidisha lenders, for your amazingly, invaluable financial support in form of loans since I came to know zidisha.I have unexplainable joy & commendation for my dear zidisha lenders.
I have been able to grow my businesses seamlessly step at a time courtesy of zidisha, through thick & thin as you know we had one of the most detious & long elections here in Kenya & by God's grace all is well.Your zidisha loans support can never be underestimated,in dealing with liquidity issues in restocking & expanding my businesses, hence repaying loan easily & on time.
    I was able to buy;biscuits-ginger 10 cartons,malt biscuits-10 cartons totalling $50,confectioners & chocolate for kids totalling $25,balloon & toy sweets totalling &25,softdrink,cakes among others.Out of about $110 that i received i was able to make a profit of $ 60.
Come 2018 I intend to buy a fridge for my shop, though the place is naturally cool, during very hot seasons my bosses i.e. customers demand cold softdrinks & i need to retain and gain more, this will cost me about $150 a second hand in good condition. Back to school stationary like exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers totalling $100 among others.
I have also seen & verified a good quarter of an acre in Nakuru County in Rift valley, which i'm paying gradually & hopefully in the very near future most of which i will plant trees for commercial purposes which will be gold as polythene bann take root in conserving our environment.
Last but not least, for young people with big dreams, aspirations, hope, optimism & mutual benefits concepts like me among others, your immeasurable, invaluable financial support in form of loans can & should never be underestimated globally.
Thanks in advance & photos of progress will follow in due course to speak thousands of words on my behalf,as i humbly wait for the next loan, thanks & God bless...

Thanks soo much my dear zidisha lenders for your continued support.
As I stated earlier,I will stock khaki papers,non-polythene courier bags, exams related stationery amoung others.
The profits I get will help me to restock more as i anticipate good business during forthcoming festive season especially after successful, tedious election season,we will all celebrate for peace by God's grace...
    Thanks once again.

I just wona assure & array fears my dear zidisha lenders may harbour, concerning the politics in Kenya.
In the contrary, business environment in Kenya is still strong, promising & is less affected by politics.
One thing for sure is here in Kenya we have never & can never be able to sustain skirmishes for long.Mainly because once it's end month & many aren't able to meet their bills, then hooliganism dies naturally & it only happens in very fewer selected places.
Here in Mount Kenya region & in 95% of Kenya, we always uphold peace & be assured of repayment.
My appeal to lenders, is not to hesitate to lend to genuine borrowers.
    Thanks & God bless.
    James Uno - Thika-Kenya.

I sincerely want to thank zidisha & specifically my dear lenders for your financial support.
I have been able to stock my shop to meet my customers demand and hence more profits & growth of my business.
By God's grace we have had a peaceful elections, despite nullification & now repeat of the same exercise,we are ready & patriotic enough to go through it in the most peaceful way possible by the grace of God.Despite everything, eventually this will only affirm investors confidence upon our dear, beautiful country- Kenya.
Away from that, polythene bags have been banned in Kenya & we all support that for a clean country. This has created numerous opportunities in selling bags, ghaki papers & other environmental friendly materials,as you can see in my photo.
Once again thank you very much lenders for you noble course all over the world,God bless & may all borrowers be more honest enough to repay as an appreciation to you all.

    Uno Josphat & Uno James.

    Thanksss.
