About Me

Profile about myself
I thank God for granting this opportunity to write to you. My name is Cecilia and I come from a humble background in a family of ten. Am the third born n the family. As I was growing up my parents struggled a lot to raise us. They did not have enough money to educate all of us but I was lucky to be among those who went to school. I school as usual primary, secondary and secondary level. I did very well but I did not proceed to college. As I was the elder sister in girls, I had to look after the young ones to help my mother. I was to look for firewood, fetchwater, cook food wash the young ones go to the posh mill, during weekend I had to smear the house and a lot tasks were awaiting on me.
Two years later, I spoke to my parents that I had to live home to to Nairobi and look for an opportunity that can sustain me and my family whom I had left home. Found myself working as a house girl in the city of Nairobi in umoja estate. My monthly salary was 3500. I had to work to help my parents who were unable. Every month I could save 1,500. I worked for two and half years. The money I had saved was enough for me to start a business.
A friend of mine called me and shared with me a business opportunity. As I was still thinking about it, I had decided to begin after one week. All over sudden, my dad passed away. Life turned me down since I had to spent everything that I had to the farewell of my dad. Life started becoming more harder and harder and I said I will strengthen myself not being weak. Three weeks later, I came back to the city and I told God I need a job. Through prayers and fasting I got a job in my church where I used to worship.
Though it was not paying well, I had to persevere with life. I used to wake up wash the church, clean the compound, wash the church van wash the toilets and at the end of the month the church could raise 8000 to pay me. Out of 8000 I could remove 2,500 pay rent,2,000 pay par time computer class,1,500 send home,1000 save, and 1000 buy food for the whole month. Volunteered for about two years as I was still seeking for another one.
Finally because life was not worth to me I decided to get married so that both of us shall contribute to get our daily bread. We happened to get a new born baby later. The little we had saved to think of bringing up a business we therefore thought of one.

My Business

ABOUT MY BUSINESS
After struggling with life, a friend called me after the second service in church. We sat down with her and she told me she has heard of a company known as GNLD. The meaning of Gnld stood for Golden Neo Life Diamite International. To join the company you need to get 6000 to join. You will be given membership card, License and you will be called a gnld distributor. She continued to tell me this is a network business. In this business people are number one. Talk to people about the business opportunity and the wonderful products we have in the company.
Then I decided to join the lady immediately and she took me hand in hand for trainings. She told me to accept to start small and as the business grows the bigger the earnings. Everyday we had trainings where they taught about the products and how you can approach people to join your business. She continued to tell me the first three month she could manage to become a Director and she could take home a cheque of 40,000
I could not believe since I saw like it was a dream. I began doing the business as I was taught by her but it was too challenging. Every morning I used to wake up at 5.am I make a prayer to God prepare myself and I move out to do the business. My first salary that month was 1,500 a cheque written in my names. I was very excited because I had never seen that before in my life. I continued doing the business and my forth cheque was 22,000 at a period of three month. At the end of the year I started seeing a cheque of 40,000. That means I was a bit slow because my friend saw acheque of 40,000 in three month. To me life had changed completely.
When I became crazy enough I decided to go to the Rift valley part of Kenya. I had a big team in rift valley since I was the first person to introduce people. The products started moving amazingly especially fertilizer for farmers. Remember, my team in Nairobi started to disappear because there was no one to motivate them. Te rift valley team was doing very well. Two weeks later, the 2007/8 clashes shocked me where found majority of my customers were snatched the properties and others killed. I was left alone as a team and I had to start again to grow the team. My friend came back to me and told me it is never too late in life. Challenges are their to keep you strong. They are stepping stones. Start from where you are and never ever give up in life. As my friend was talking to me I had spent everything to the rift valley team and had total nothing in my pocket.
As I proceed with the business though it is not worth but I will push to make ends meet as somebody said it is never too late in life. Am lacking finances to make my business wake up again. Kindly I urge you lenders to support me to uplift my business and I will appreciate if you consider my request. Thanks and God bless you all.

Loan Proposal

the loan shall be used to add more stock ,since there is a high demand of the GNLD products around the area , this will result to an increase in sales thereby an increase in profit resulting to better living standards.
lenders should help me purchase the products since the demand is high and i dont have enough money to buy the products to meet the demand
