About Me

My name is lydia wavinya a new member to zidisha born and raised in the rural parts of of Rifty Valley Eldoret a region in Kenya, I belive in God and my family are all christian i was brought up in church i miss my sunday school lessons so much i joined marakwet high school after passing so well i joined Eldoret satelite campus of bussiness studies.
After campus i did not manage to secure a employment opportunity this left me hopeless i tried to get a job but unfortunately all companies i visited for interview was telling me the opportunity was taken.
I became hopeless and started helping my mother with farming activities, One day i decided to start a bussiness i told my father about the idea and he embrace it so much he offered some money that helped alot in the setting up of the bussiness.
My sisters and brothers are into bussiness and i would like to make it big than them so that they can belive that what a man can do a woman can do better. When i told them of the idea they contributed some money too and gave advice on how to start abussiness with a small amount of money.
I like travelling skating and fashion.

My Business

I sell cloths to the people of my community i own a stall in town were i get cloths from Nairobi city in bulk and distribute to other retail sellers and sell some in retail price at my shop, This is my only way of survival after my parents helped me set this bussiness my brothers helped alot in financing the shop and i could not be were i am today if not for the support they gave.
I spend 120,000 kenya shillings on stock and after buying, Transportation and distribution costs i make 185,000 kenya shillings reflecting a profit of 65,000 kenya shillings this is a monthly sale as it is the period i take before i go for a new stock.
I use half the money to surport my family, pay for rent and addition of stock, and half the money to save for i plan to buy a plot worth 600,000 kenya shillings buy the end of the year.

Loan Proposal

Once i receive the loan of 160 us dollars i will use it to sum up my stock savings money of 1200 Us dollars make it 1,360 us dollars and buy two bundles of cloths one will be male and the other will be female cloths, this will cost me 600 us dollars for men and 620 us dollars for ladies cloths, The remaing 140 us dollars i will use 100 to pay for county government tax and 40 us dollars for transportation of the cloths from Nairobi to Eldoret town.
This will be a great increament to my bussiness and i will be able to stabalise my supply and face my demand.
I expect to increase my monthly profit buy 10 percent.
