About Me

My names are Daniel orina I was born in Kisii county,in Kenya 42 years ago in a family of 4 and I was born second in a poverty striken family and as a result my childhood life was full of problems such that I managed to school up to primary school only.
After primary school I was forced to start looking for casual labour at such an early stage.
I moved from my home town Kisii to Eldoret in 1992 in search job and abetter life .I have been leaving in Eldoret town since then AND WORKING with aconstruction company as acasual labourer .
In the year2013 after working as acasual laborer for ten years I decided to venture into my own business i.e shop keeping that is the business Iam doing up todate .
I am married to a wife and two children

My Business

I am a shop keeper in Kamukunji estate Eldoret Toen ,I started that business in the years 2013 with capital from savings I had made in casual labour employment in a construction company.

Competition is minimal and the existing competitors I have an advantage over them, I sell my products at a very friendly price which keeps on attracting more and more customers. My business does not face any risks because these products are the most essential for the whole community.
My monthly cost of running the business is US Dollars 240 while average Gross profit before the expenses is usually approximately US Dollars 385
The following is how I normally use profits from the business :-
70% Up keep i.e food and rent
5% Savings
15% I support my aged mother and two siblings

Loan Proposal

Thanks you lenders for giving me an opportunity to get the credit from you.Given funding I will use my loan to add stock to my business as follows:-
Rice 25 dollars
Sugar 50 dollars
Flour 25 dollars
The above are consumables goods and I will be able to sell every day and also I believe that will help increase my sales since I will not sale out of stock.
