About Me

I grew up in a family of 7 members. It was tough growing up as my father was jobless and had to cater for our school fees and other basic requorements without a stable job. However poverty did not stop me from working hard and finally secured direct entry to University and therefore paying far much less as compared to parallel students. While in second year, i started a retail kiosk with the little loan that the government allocates to regular students and due to my hard work, my business has been growing steadily. My dream will be seeing my children grow, work hard in school and become doctors and save lives. During my free time, i like visiting different business ventures of friens so as to get new ideas that can help me grow financially.

My Business

My shop deals in household items for daily use such as soap, flour, petroleum jelly, cooking oil and other items. I have also started selling and refilling cooking gases as the demand of the same in my neighbourhood has been on the rise. The items that my shop deals with are on demand because they are necessary for daily use in our households. I chose the business because it is easy to manage and im also assured of a steady flow of customers due to the kind and quality of items that i deal with. On a normal day, my average revenue ranges between 3000-5000 after taking care of all expenses. I use my profits to reinvest in my business so that it can grow and also pay school fees for my younger siblings.

Loan Proposal

The loan will assist me to add stock in my retail shop as at the moment there is demand of some items from customers that i dont have in stock. I want my services to be excellent so i can satisfy my customers and develop a good relationship with them. The loan will be of great help to me so that i can achieve my objectives.

The loan given to me helped increase children diaper stock and i can confirm that my customers are really happy. This has also increased my daily earnings by ksh 100 which has really motivated me. Im planning to save the increased earnings and use the cash to refurnish my shop.
