About Me

My name is Winny Olela, I am the 2nd born in a family of four. I was born in 1990.I went to lwanya primary school and later proceeded to Lwanya secondary school where I did my KCSE. I passed well ,but did not join tertiary insitution due to lack of finances.
i started my business after completing secondary school.my dad was ill and could not work and so we entirely depended omn my mum who was earning $60 from her work as a secretary. that was barely enough to take care of our needs. I joined Yap youth group where I contributed $3 per month. After 1 year I was qualified for $100 loan. I took the loan and bought materials for selling. The business did well and I was able to make some good profit. I settled on these business ,repaid my loan and I am now doing fairly well.
I actually started these business because I believed it was the most profitable venture,I still believe its the best business if i get the resources for expansion.
I am a planning to start a family next year and so there are no kids right now. I like traveling, meeting new people and singing.

My Business

my business ,involves supplying materials for making new dresses to both individuals who own dressing making shops.
I get good quality materials from neighboring, country Uganda and resell them to my clients in Kenya. the demand for my goods are relatively high throughout the year.
I choose these business because it had good profit margins and easy to manage.
I spend $1000 every month, for buying materials and traveling costs. my revenues per month is $1300.
I use my proceeds to pay fees for my sisters, buy medication for my dad and take care of other general living expenses.
