About Me

Am tressy kiambi,at my early 20s,joined my primary education in 1996 at Ntumu boarding primary school later i ended to join my upper level at Kiereni high school.
After completing my secondary level,i had my beauty and cosmetic shop running under care of my aunt for a year.A year later joined JOMO KENYATTA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE AND TECHNOLOGY where am pursuing my bachelors degree in procurement and currently pursuing the course
My perseverance,persistence and patient helped me overcome the following hardships
-running my business while am studying yet had no capital
-saving the little pocket money i received my parents and making a prosperous
beauty and cosmetic business out of it
i saved my pocket money and reached savings $ 450 US dollar and started my business
i come from the slopes of Mount Kenya where most of things are in plenty as has a cool environment,a place near MERU NATIONAL PARK,and since MOUNT KENYA FOREST has surrounded my home,elephants come all over and they look lovely
I want my children to get quality education and have all the resources to see them succeed in life
i love swimming,adventures,reading novels (entrepreneur article),watching movies,helping others out the needy and elderly

My Business

I have one employee whom i pay $ 75.00 US dollar monthly,i offer hair relaxers,nail polish,bracelets,braids,weaves,hair foods,combs,selling blow drys,clutch bags,ladies wear,hairbands.
The services are useful because i give permanent employment to my employee,the goods that are on high demand include;clutch bags,bracelets,hair foods,weaves hairbands and ladies wear,therefore this make the goods and services useful to the customers.
i chose this kind of business because i had passion and curiosity about beauty and cosmetic again where my business is situated there are no nearest sort of businesses thus always had high expenses for he ladies to go to have their needs satisfied and so i came up with the idea to start my business in order to minimize their expenses
Monthly i spend $ 352.94 to re-stock my stock,pay house rent,pay my employe and business work permit.The cost increases as the demand increases.
I use my profit to pay part of my school fees,my pocket money and adding stock.

Loan Proposal

After getting my loan i will add my stock,bringing new,latest stock such as;mirrors,combs,latest weaves,latest type/color of braids,hair foods,hair bands,blow drys, clutch bags and bracelets.
Since am taking a 4 year course,the loan can help me in clearing my school fees also help in paying my rent,my employee and without forgetting my personal needs.
Expanding my business is the main co-issue.
