I am a telecommunications engineer,a product of the Kenya Polytechnic University. I have worked in several communications bureau in Nairobi town.I greatly had a passion in being an employer rather than an employee and hence, I kept on working hard on getting a way to set up my own job. I kept saving some little amount of money from my monthly salary and managed to raise some capital and started my own business. I found a shop at Kiambu shopping center and started an electronics shop dealing in sales of DVD players, Amplifiers, sub woofers,TVs,radios among other electronics appliances. I also have a great capacity in repairs and maintenance and therefore, I incorporated it in the same premises whereby i offer the services to the community at professional level.
I operate a sole proprietor electronics shop named "WOKS ELECTRONICS". My business deals on brand new electronic items and appliances.I purchase them in bulk and wholesale from Nairobi in different varieties according to customers demand. Currently there have been a great reduction in our buying prices due to mass importation of goods from china making the business yield extremely well. Most of the appliances and newly innovated electrical gadgets are readily available at affordable prices hence making the business to nourish.I have established a good link with some of those who import goods directly from China. I therefore, always keep pace with the technology changes hence making me be ahead of my competitors.
I intend to boost up my business by adding some more electrical appliances which are currently on high demand. There is the digital migration process taking place in our country and this has raised an extremely high demand for the digital signal decoders. I therefore intend to and several GOTV decoders so as to retain and attract more customers.
