About Me

My name is George Mwariri i come from Kenya and lives in a town called Kiambu. I come from a nuclear family of six children ,am the third born in my family. I joined pre- school when i was 3 yeas of age and later did my primary education, afterwards i proceeded to secondary education. I joined college and did a diploma in Catering.

my wish was to continue with my education and i aspired to be the best Chef in town but due to financial crisis that could not happen. I did not continue with my education because my parents were concentrating on my younger siblings who needed education also.I started hustling up and down looking for a job, luckily my neighbor had a friend whom had a bakery and part of it was a hotel. I enrolled for Bakery job as a baker i used to bake cakes and bread.
The experience helped me so much because it gave me a chance to have pretty income and i was able to to start my own bakery shop which i operate to date.
I love my culture especially the traditional food Githeri, its a mixture of beans and maize during occasions its highly loved food despite other types of food one cannot miss Githeri people love it so much. My prayer and my wish is when my children grow up i want them to great business people that why i am working so hard to lay a good foundation for them.
My hobbies are swimming, reading novels, and travelling. during leisure i spend time with my family.

My Business

I love my business, its is doing well. I have a bakery shop whereby i bake different types of foods and snacks. snacks are very highly in demand, people;children to grown ups take snacks everyday i.e all sorted types of cakes.I chose this business because foremost it is my passion in baking and one thing i put in my mind i can give confidence to my customers because of what i am providing to them.
My target is to expand my bakery shop in increasing the stocks of products used in baking so that i can supply cakes and breads to major towns in country. From my daily sales am able to pay for my daily needs i e food, transport and rent. from my business i make around 2.50$ $daily.I believe if i increase the stocks and increase the number of baked food daily my income will rise.

Project Proposal

Once I get the cash I will use it to buy a small juice blender, the blender is mostly needed for making juice to compliment the cakes. The remaining amount will go to buying of flour which I will use to boost my stock by adding different varieties of cakes and biscuits which are in demand. The remaining amount will be used to replace a leaking roof at the premise to improve the conditions. Will also add an extra sit for customers.
