My name is Wilfred, a businessman and a church minister in Mombasa city. I deal with buying and selling of shoes. I am married with 3 children and my wife is also in business where she sells clothes.
We complement each other and support our young family. My first born is 13 years old and the last born 6 years. They all aspire to do well in school and get professional jobs like doctors and engineers.
I also spend a lot of time in church where I do various duties such as organizing various groups and praying for the faithfuls.
I buy and sell many different types of shoes. I normally get my stock from wholesalers and then sell at a profit. Occasionally I cross to the neighboring countries where some type of shoes are cheaper.
I make about $200 per month from the sale of shoes. I hope the business will keep growing and transform into a big store in the city center. This way I will be able to make more sales and make more profit that will enable my family to be financially independent.
I will use the money to buy more used shoes to sell in my shop. Though this money is not much, I will go a long way in increasing my stock which will make my existing clients have more confidence in me.
I hope to keep taking these loans which will eventually allow my business to grow into a big store - something I have always wanted to do.
Thank you.
