About Me

I am known and called by the name Rebecca Agyeiwaa. I am now 26 years old. I come from Berekum in the Brong Ahafo Region. I am in a family of five. Three females including my mother and two males including my father.
I started my education at Voice of Deliverance preparatory school which is in Berekum. After I had completed, I continued at Our Lady of Providence at Drobo in the Brong Ahafo Region. I completed about four years ago but I was not able to continue my tertiary education because of financial difficulties.
I went for six months course in computing and after the course, I worked my master for some months after which I established my own printing press at the area where I am living. I started my business with a a capital of about 800 dollars and now I have two employees.

My Business

I established my own printing press in the year 2012 at new Biadan where I am living with a capital of about 800 dollars. I raised a small structure in front of our house. And I was able to buy a photocopy machine. I started this business simply because I needed money to continue my education.
After my secondary school and had no money to pay for school fees to enter into tertiary school. I realised that the pupils at Madonna preparatory school have been making a lot of photocopies so I went for a six months computing course. After about six months, I was able to buy a desktop computer for my printing press. Which is used for typing examination questions, making invitation cards, engagement and wedding cards. I have two employees who are learning how to type and make cards.
I want to expand my printing press and be able to employ more people and also continue my tertiary education. I estimate about 3500 dollars for my expansion and education.
REPAYMENT
I will be able to repay any loan offered me from the examination questions, photocopies and the cards I do.

Loan Proposal

I am going to use the loan to purchase and additional printers to help me do more printing work. Sometimes after designing cards and others, it becomes difficult to print them faster so when i am able to purchase a printer, it will make my work faster. It is also going to help me to assist more people in designing cards and other work. I will also purchase papers which are used for printing. The cost of a printer is about 80 dollars and a bundle of paper is about 10-15 dollars. This will help my profit to increase to about 20 dollars a week. And also help my assistance and myself to earn a living.
