About Me

My name is Kirimi Kirmo. I was born 49 years ago in the eastern region of Kenya. As a young boy, I grew under difficult circumstances since my parents were small peasants.
As I went through school, I had to do some menial jobs to take of my general upkeep.
At the age of 10, I started desiring travelling to work in the city but I was advised that I had to work very hard in school so that I could pass my exams to qualify get job in the city.
Finally I finished school and succeeded to get a job with the county government of Nairobi. In the course of time, I realized the salary I was earning was not sufficient to meet all my financial needs especially after I got married. It is at this point I decided to try some business.
My daughter always desired to study information technology and other stuff related to computer.

My Business

Among the many businesses I tried, rabbit rearing has turned to be more exciting and profitable. I like it because the demand for rabbit meat is high.
My main costs mostly comes with constant expansion of the rabbit hutches, feeding and vet services.
Currently I meet these costs by selling some of the rabbits which the returns are usually very good. Am able to pay for school fees and also support my younger brother and one of my nephews financially.
Am more focused on growing my rabbit stock so that I can be able to secure larger orders especially with hotels and restaurants.

Loan Proposal

I will buy two female rabbits at a cost of US$ 7.5 each.
The extra rabbits shall produce and will add to my rabbit stock.
With the additional rabbits it will be possible to make an extra US$ 75.00 within six months.
