I am a young hardworking, social and hardworking lady a holder of Diploma in Business Management. I have a strong passion for business and would love to turn to a leading entrepreneur. I have been working in public office as an office administrator in a well established security firm. The experience gathered from my career have given me the acumen on how to deal with the people, enhanced communication and management skills. Currently, I have my own business of which I source for high quality men shirts and sell. I have a large clientele which keep on expanding day by day.
I purchase shirts weekly from the main market that deals in second hand clothes in Kisumu. I always select the best shirts in good condition. I have good taste that makes most of the men who are my customers love buying from me.Besides, I advice them on the right shirt depending on their personality. I use the marketing skills that I learned in college to market my products adequately. The shirts are locally known as Camera due to the high quality even though, there are second hand.
Currently, I sell an average of 20 shirts in a week. It is important to note that I purchase the shirts and supply on order, this is to ensure that I do not have idle stock that affects my cash flow. From the 20 shirts I purchase weekly at a cost of Kshs.4,000($46) I make a gross profit of 2,000( $23). Thus, I sell each shirt at Ksh, 400(4.6). My need is that I need additional capital so as to be able to purchase more shirts and supply to my expanding clientele. I sell the clothes in a small town a few Kilometers from Kisumu City.
I would love to extend my supplies to Kisumu which has a wide market scope, but require a good capital base. With additional Kshs, 12, 986($151) I will be able to supply 60 more shirt to the new market target. I have done my research well and I know it is possible. I will be able to increase my earning three fold and be able to make a gross profit of 6,000($156) weekly and subsequently a net profit of Ksh 9,500($110) after catering for over heads and paying local taxes. I will be able to pay the loan and in due course expand my business and employ jobless youths and lead a comfortable life.
