About Me

I am single parent of one, i grew up in the slum of kangemi in Nairobi county, i currently support my younger brother to go to school via my business,i am also a volunteer in a community clean group where we clean our area every once a month, before i started my business i was a student in the local college where i studied business communication part of the tuition fee was my own saving from my business.

My Business

My business is a green grocery that deals with retailing of cabbages, kunde and managu, i buy them direct from the farmers that i have visited their farms, my clients are people who live in kangeme area, i sell it here because its affordable by the poor families in the slum i prefer to selll to them so that they can also feed their families, and since kunde and managu are African vegetables they are very popular in the market so it has a ready market for it.

Loan Proposal

The loan will be used to add stock of kunde African vegetables by 3 sacks this will cost 2500kshs, additional stock of managu African vegetables by 4 sacks this will cost 3750kshs, from 2015 January i am planting my own vegetables so i will 1500 kshs to buy manure and 150 to buy seed.
