My name is Judy, a mother of 2 school going children. I was in Machakos county in eastern side of Kenya and later relocated to Mombasa where I am still living. I am married to a businessman who runs his business activates in Mombasa.
I am a hard working woman and I run a small store where I sell second hand shoes. I have been doing this for the last one year.
My first born is 14 years old and the second one is 9 years. My daughter's ambition is to become a pilot and son an engineer.
As mentioned above, I deal with sale of second hand shoes. I source my stock from big stores where I buy on wholesale and then retail them from my outlet. I make a profit of between 25 - 30% on my sales.
I hope keep growing if given affordable credit and hopefully be able to sell new shoes as well. I use the profit to run my home budget and to supplement my husband's income.
This is a modest loan but I am grateful that I have joined Zidisha lending system. I mainly want to use this loan as an entry to Zidisha with a hope of getting bigger credit in future.
I will use this money to buy a few pairs of flip-flops and make a modest profit which will contribute to my business growth.
