MY STORY
I was raised and schooled around the famous lake Nakuru national park; the only park where flamingos dwell all year round. i had fear for the park since i had heard stories of wild animals attacking school kids.
when i was 13 years old my friends and i decided to enter the park through the fence. we entered trying to satisfy the spirit of adventure. we were not aware of the dangers we were putting ourselves into. we had nothing to protect ourselves.
we walked for around 20 minutes and then it happened. we saw a group of rhinos grazing. we decided to throw stones at them. they charged towards us and we climbed a tree as fast as we could. the bull rhino started hitting th tree with its head. we screamed at the top of our voices. luckily enough four armed game wardens came to our rescue.the took us to school and our parents were summoned.we were beaten by both parents and teachers and since then i have never even visited the park. I fear rhinos

My business

I have always read stories about Nike and Adidas because my dream is to have my footwear company. My dream is valid and I have never dreamt of being a pilot or doctor like most of my classmates from lower school. The Kenyan market is biased and most people who purchase products always look for the country of manufacture or designer. I want to change this attitude by introducing a quality product to match Nike, Adidas, puma and even Under armor.
Capital is a problem but I believe since I have identified my target and also my label all I need to do is source for finances and market my brand in the coming four years. I started dealing in second hand soccer and rugby boots asking my customers hat brand they love and what they love in them. I expanded to ladies shoes and I now want to improve my stock.
The profits I will get I will always re invest in the small business because I am looking forward to a bigger picture. I am targeting to set up a website to introduce my idea to the public and even foreigners and I am sure I will get an entrepreneur partner.
I am targeting a brand that will be used by generations an celebrated in different nations. I am playing semi professional soccer and the excitement I see in my team is what I want to see for my brand.

My project needs funding for a start . I have set up structures already and all I need is adding of stock. I purchase second hand shoes and soccer boots in Nairobi. The owner of the bale opens up the bale and we select pairs of shoes and the price of each pair depends on the quality. The average price of a second hand adidas is 13 dollars and I sell at a price ranging from 20 dollars to 25 dollars each.
I always travel to Nairobi each Saturday to buy new stock or top up my merchandise. The market is fair since there are many soccer clubs in Nakuru and new soccer players keep coming up. Nakuru is also the capital of rift valley province so most rural players come to purchase here.
My typical revenue per month is around 300 dollars and my expenses range from 180 dollars to 200 dollars. My profits I always re invest back to the business to try and improve my business as I look for funds to start a bigger company in the long run.
I will be able to raise kes 500 per week to repay my loan and secure a bigger limit next time.
