About Me

my name is augustino christian basil kiria, i was born in morogoro region, morogoro district in the city, mwembesongo ward, postal code 67113, msamvu-sume street, house number 11, block b, in a family of five people namely father, mother, me , brother and sister. I have been a resident of Morogoro since childhood until now where I finished my sixth form studies in the year (2020) with the success of (division 2 of 11) unfortunately I missed a loan to further my education due to the small economy of my family , so the year (2021) is when I started researching what kind of business I will do to help me and the community around me. I found out that the plastic collection business is the business that will keep the city in a clean environment and reduce epidemics caused by the presence of a lot of garbage in the residence human beings especially during the rain. but also through that idea I will have liberated the community by creating an opportunity to hire people we will work with to do this work in the community.

My Business

so in the year (2021) I officially started the plastic collection business starting with three (3) stones where I created employment opportunities for four people including myself, but when the year (2022) came in collaboration with SIDO (Tanzania Small Industries Service Organization) I managed to buy a plastic recycling machine where I managed to increase employment opportunities for more than 20 people, but apart from that struggle we have grown in various challenges including the need for machines and capital, but currently the challenge we face is the capital to run plastic collection activities. My hope is to ensure that the community can find opportunities to support themselves in their daily needs.

Project Proposal

therefore, I have mothers who collect those plastics in different areas, more than ten (10) and I also have more than (12) young women and men who rely on this business, so I am asking to be given (an amount of only three hundred thousand shillings 300000/=) which I will use run and strengthen this business, if the application for this loan is successful there will be more than twenty (20) people with dependent families who will be successful and in total the number of their families/households is approximately (70 people) who will be directly supported, so for respect and dignity, I hope my request will be addressed and successful.
